  1. I’ve just read about that Crocodile a very interesting and entertaining book. You did well to fend off the developers whose truth is stranger than fiction. My Grandfathers house in Machrihanish Swallowhome was bought in the 1930s to be run as a Hotel and give employment to my Aunts. It has passed outside the family. Details can be found in the historic houses Scotland web site. I loved that house family holidays with my cousins, golfing, fishing
and walking. Now at 74 I am the oldest male cousin. Alas time waits for nobody.

Good wishes to you and your family for many years of happiness in your fine house.

  2. Thank you David for taking the time to write and send on your good wishes. Swallowhome is a wonderful name for a house, and thank you for sharing your memories of it with me. All the best, Selina.
